4 European workshops
During the project, 4 European workshops have been organised by the partners in France, Germany, Portugal and Italy. In each partner’s country, a group of young people have gathered for one week to test each of the Trust Tour methods, design a theatre performance altogether and be trained to implement the methods in their own activities.
Together with the artistic leaders and local community, they have staged new narratives created through this intercultural cocreation. Through this process, they have learned to create common with Europeans from different backgrounds and to build new relationships and trust. At the end of each workshop, they performed in front of the local audience to show the workshop’s result and illustrate the method.
Online Workshop on Transplanisphere method
Transplanisphere proposes a method for creating a hyperlink performance during intercultural youth meetings. In February 2021, 10 young Europeans gathered online to discover the French method. Activities on hyperlink performances, documentary theatre and testimonies were conducted in this online workshop which ended with a public representation of the online interactive performance that the participants created.
French workshopOnline Workshop on KJT Dortmund method
Theater Dortmund proposes a methodology based on Idomeneus in Greek mythology and adaptation work from an existing text. In May 2021, 15 young Europeans gathered online to discover the German method. Activities around Greek mythology, creative writing and text adaptation were carried out during this online workshop which ended with a performance on Idomeneus that the participants created.
German workshopWorkshop in Evora on ExQuorum method
ExQuorum proposes a methodology based on the other three methods and on memory, territory and local community. In November 2021, 15 young European gathered in Evora to discover the Portuguese method. Activities on in-situ performances, co-creation with local communities and theatre were conducted in this workshop that ended with a multi-performance that the participants created.
Portugese workshopWorkshop in Rieti on Teatro Rigodon method
Teatro Rigodon proposes a methodology based on the body, travel and space. In December 2021, 10 young Europeans gathered in Rieti and Rocca Sinibalda to discover the Italian method. Activities on energy through body expression, dance and space appropriation were carried out during this workshop which ended with a public representation of the performance that the participants created.
